Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the toilet he would cover his head, and when he came to his wife he would also cover his head.
The Shaykh said: This hadith is munkar (denounced) because of Muhammad bin Yunus al-Kudaymi.
The Shaykh said: Covering the head when entering the toilet is authentically reported from Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him). Likewise, Habib bin Salih narrates it from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in mursal form.
Abu Ahmad bin Adi said: I do not know anyone other than al-Kudaymi who narrated it with this chain, and al-Kudaymi is too evidently weak to need his weakness explained.
