وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ، وَأَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ السَّقَّاءُ قَالَا: أنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَيَجِدُ الْحَاطِبَ مَعَهُ شَجَرٌ رَطْبٌ قَدْ عَضَدَهُ مِنْ بَعْضِ شَجَرِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَيَأْخُذُ سَلَبَهُ فَيُكَلَّمُ فِيهِ فَيَقُولُ: " لَا أَدَعُ غَنِيمَةً غَنَّمَنِيهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "، قَالَ: " وَإِنِّي لَمِنْ أَكْثَرِ النَّاسِ مَالًا " أَبُوهُ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْقُرَشِيُّ.
Amir bin Sa'd narrates from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) that he would go out of Madinah and find a woodcutter with fresh wood that he had lopped from some of the trees of Madinah, and he would take his belongings. When he was spoken to about it, he would say: "I will not give up spoils that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) granted me." And he said: "Even though I am among the wealthiest of people."
