أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، ثنا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ فَلَمْ تَحِلَّ لِأَحَدٍ كَانَ قَبْلِي، وَلَا تَحِلُّ لِأَحَدٍ بَعْدِي وَإِنَّهَا أُحِلَّتْ لِي سَاعَةً مِنْ نَهَارٍ، لَا يُخْتَلَى خَلَاهَا، وَلَا يُعْضَدُ شَجَرُهَا وَلَا يُنَفَّرُ صَيْدُهَا، وَلَا يُلْتَقَطُ لُقَطَتُهَا إِلَّا لِمُعَرِّفٍ "، فَقَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِلَّا الْإِذْخِرَ لِصَاغَتِنَا وَبُيُوتِنَا، قَالَ: " إِلَّا الْإِذْخِرَ ".
Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah made Makkah sacred; it was not lawful for anyone before me, and it will not be lawful for anyone after me. It was made lawful for me only for an hour of a day. Its fresh grass is not to be cut nor its trees cut down, its game is not to be startled, and its lost property is not to be picked up except by one who announces it." Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Except idhkhir grass, for our smiths and our houses. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Except idhkhir."
