Bayhaqi 9714 — The Hajj of a child
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَهْلٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمِهْرَانِيُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ السِّخْتِيَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ السَّرَّاجُ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ النَّاقِدُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَيْمَنَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " حَجَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَنَا النِّسَاءُ وَالصِّبْيَانُ، فَلَبَّيْنَا عَنِ الصِّبْيَانِ وَرَمَيْنَا عَنْهُمْ ".
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We performed Hajj with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the women and children were with us, so we said the talbiyah on behalf of the children and also did the stoning (rami) for them.
