وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ، بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، أنبأ يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبَّادٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا ⦗٢٥٤⦘ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسِيرُ بِطَرِيقِ مَكَّةَ كَلَّمَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ فِي مِحَفَّةٍ لَهَا وَأَخَذَتْ بِعَضُدِ صَبِيٍّ فَرَفَعَتْهُ فَقَالَتْ: أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " لَهُ حَجٌّ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: While the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was travelling on the road to Makkah, a woman in her litter spoke to him (peace and blessings be upon him); she took hold of a child by the upper arm, lifted him up and said: O Messenger of Allah! Is there Hajj for him? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is Hajj for him, and you will have a reward."
