Bayhaqi 9703 — The Hajj of a child
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: رَفَعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ ابْنًا لَهَا فِي مِحَفَّةٍ تُرْضِعُهُ فِي طَرِيقِ مَكَّةَ فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ لَكِ أَجْرٌ " أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that on the road to Makkah a woman lifted up a nursing child from a litter and said: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Is there Hajj for him?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, and you will have a reward."
