قَالَ: وَأنبأ مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ مِثْلَهُ. وَإِلَى هَذَا ذَهَبَ عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَافَ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ لَيْلًا، وَأَصَحُّ هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَاتِ حَدِيثُ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَحَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ وَحَدِيثُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ.
Likewise (through another chain).
(b) Urwah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah have mercy on him) held the view that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Tawaf on his she-camel at night; but the most authentic of these narrations are the hadiths of Nafi' from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), and of Abu Salamah from Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her). And Allah knows best.
