Imran al-Ansari said: Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) turned aside towards me while I was stopping beneath a sarhah tree on the road to Makkah, and he said: "What made you stop beneath this sarhah tree?" I said: "I came to take its shade." He said: "Anything other than that?" I said: "I came only for the shade." He said: "Anything other than that?" I said: "Nothing; I have no other purpose in coming here." Then Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you are between the two mountains of Mina" (and he pointed with his hand towards the east), "there is a valley there called al-Surar, in which there is a sarhah tree beneath which the umbilical cords of seventy prophets were cut."
