Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both), describing the Hajj of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), said: When we reached the House of Allah, he (peace and blessings be upon him) kissed the Black Stone, did three circuits jogging lightly and four walking, then went on to the Station of Ibrahim and recited this verse: "And take the Station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer." [Surah Al-Baqarah: 125] Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) placed the Station between himself and the House of Allah and prayed two rak'ahs, reciting in them Surah al-Ikhlas and Surah al-Kafirun. Then he came back to the House of Allah and touched the corner (istilam).
