Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked which Hajj is best, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Al-'ajj and al-thajj (raising the voice in the talbiyah and pouring forth the blood of sacrificial animals)."
Abu Isa (al-Tirmidhi) said: I asked al-Bukhari about it, and he said: In my view it is mursal; Muhammad bin al-Munkadir did not hear from Abd al-Rahman bin Yarbu'. I said: What of those who mention Sa'id in it? He said: That is a mistake; Sa'id is not in it. I said to him: Dirar bin Surad and others narrated this hadith from Ibn Abi Fudayk and said: from Sa'id bin Abd al-Rahman, from his father. He said: That is nothing. The Shaykh (al-Bayhaqi) said: Ahmad bin Hanbal said the same, according to what has reached us from him.
