وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَطَّانُ، أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، أنبأ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي قَيْسُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ طَارِقَ بْنَ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيَّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ: قَدِمْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ مُنِيخٌ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ فَقَالَ لِي: " بِمَا أَهْلَلْتَ؟ " قَالَ: قُلْتُ: لَبَّيْكَ بِإِهْلَالٍ كَإِهْلَالِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أَحْسَنْتَ " فَأَمَرَنِي فَطُفْتُ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ أَخْرَجَاهُ فِي الصَّحِيحِ.
Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while he (peace and blessings be upon him) had made his mount kneel at al-Batha, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "With what did you say the talbiyah?" I said: I said: "Labbayka bi-ihlalin ka-ihlal al-Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him)" (O Allah, here I am, with a talbiyah like the talbiyah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have done well." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me, so I performed tawaf of the House (the Ka'bah) and of Safa and Marwah.
