Bayhaqi 8984 — Those who said one begins the talbiyah when his mount
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " بَيْدَاؤُكُمُ الَّتِي تَكْذِبُونَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهَا، مَا أَهَلَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ الْمَسْجِدِ " يَعْنِي مَسْجِدَ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: You attribute a falsehood about al-Bayda' to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); he (peace and blessings be upon him) began the talbiyah from the mosque of Dhu al-Hulayfah itself.
