Bayhaqi 8932 — Those who recommended entering ihram from one's home
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ مَحْمَوَيْهِ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ، ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، ثنا حَاضِرُ بْنُ مُطَهَّرٍ، ثنا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ مُجَّاعَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ أَحْرَمَ مِنَ الْبَصْرَةِ فَكَرِهَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ.
Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) entered ihram from Basrah, and Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) disliked that for him.
