Bayhaqi 8766 — Those who held Umrah obligatory, citing the saying

Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked: What about Umrah before Hajj? He said: Both are acts of worship; begin with whichever you wish.
Isma'il bin Salim narrated it from Ibn Sirin as marfu' (from the Prophet), but the correct version is mawquf (Zayd's own saying).
