Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Charity is due on every joint of a person every day on which the sun rises." And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Judging justly between two people is charity; helping a man with his mount is charity; letting someone ride on one's mount or loading his goods onto it is charity; a good word is charity; every step one walks towards the mosque is charity; and removing something harmful from the road is charity."
