باب: الدليل على أن من أدى فرض الله في الزكاة فليس عليه أكثر منه إلا أن يتطوع سوى ما مضى في الباب قبله
Chapter: Evidence that whoever pays what Allah has obligated of zakah owes nothing more unless he volunteers, besides what passed in the preceding chapter

وَفِيمَا ذَكَرَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ فِي الْمَرَاسِيلِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَبَّاحٍ، عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ، عَنْ ⦗١٤٢⦘ عُذَافِرٍ الْبَصْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا: " مَنْ أَدَّى زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ فَقَدْ أَدَّى الْحَقَّ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ زَادَ فَهُوَ أَفْضَلُ " أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أنبأ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ، أنبأ اللُّؤْلُؤِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ فَذَكَرَهُ.
Al-Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in mursal form: "Whoever pays the zakah of his wealth has fulfilled the right that was due from him, and whoever gives more, that will be a source of merit for him."
