وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أنبأ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ الْعُمَرِيُّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، " أَنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي عَلَى السَّقْطِ حَتَّى يُسْتَهَلَّ ".
Nafi' narrates from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he would not offer the funeral prayer over a miscarried child until it cried out.
