وَأَمَّا حَدِيثُ الثَّوْرِيِّ: فَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: " أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِرَجُلٍ وَقَصَتْهُ رَاحِلَتُهُ فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ: " كَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ، وَاغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ، وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ؛ فَإِنَّ اللهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُلَبِّي ". رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ،.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) whose mount had thrown him; he died while he was in the state of ihram. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shroud him in two garments, wash him with water and lote-tree leaves (sidr), and do not cover his head. Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection Allah Almighty will raise him, and he will come reciting the talbiyah."
