Abdullah bin Yahya al-Qadi al-Sarakhsi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated a report with the same meaning through this same chain. (b) Imam Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him) said: For us, Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) and Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) are both Companions of the Messenger; whoever wishes may accept the narration of Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him), and whoever wishes may act on the narration of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both).
(c) The Shaykh said: Our companions narrate from Ali bin al-Madini (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said something about the hadith of Busrah (may Allah be pleased with her) and Urwah's (may Allah have mercy on him) hearing (from her), as Yahya bin Ma'in (may Allah have mercy on him) said; it is as if he followed Yahya bin Ma'in (may Allah have mercy on him) and acted on the hadith of Busrah (may Allah be pleased with her).
