أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو صَالِحِ بْنُ أَبِي طَاهِرٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، أنبأ جَدِّي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَاضِي، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيُّ التَّمِيمِيُّ، أنبأ عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: " شَهِدْتُ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَصَفَفْنَا خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَفَّينِ، وَكَانَ الْعَدُوُّ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ، فَكَبَّرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَبَّرْنَا جَمِيعًا، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ وَرَكَعْنَا جَمِيعًا، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ وَرَفَعْنَا جَمِيعًا، ثُمَّ انْحَدَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالسُّجُودِ وَالصَّفُّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ، وَقَامَ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ فِي نَحْرِ الْعَدُوِّ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السُّجُودَ وَالصَّفُّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ وَقَامُوا، انْحَدَرَ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ بِالسُّجُودِ، فَلَمَّا قَضَوْا سُجُودَهُمْ وَقَامُوا، تَقَدَّمَ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ، وَتَأَخَّرَ الصَّفُّ الْمُقَدَّمُ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ وَرَكَعْنَا جَمِيعًا، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ وَرَفَعْنَا جَمِيعًا، ثُمَّ انْحَدَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالسُّجُودِ وَالصَّفُّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ، وَقَامَ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ فِي نَحْرِ الْعَدُوِّ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السُّجُودَ وَالصَّفُّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ وَقَامُوا انْحَدَرَ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ بِالسُّجُودِ، فَلَمَّا قَضَوْا سُجُودَهُمْ وَقَامُوا تَقَدَّمَ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ وَتَأَخَّرَ الصَّفُّ الْمُقَدَّمُ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ وَرَكَعْنَا جَمِيعًا، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ وَرَفَعْنَا جَمِيعًا، ثُمَّ انْحَدَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالسُّجُودِ وَالصَّفُّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ الْمُقَدَّمُ الَّذِي كَانَ مُؤَخَّرًا فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى، فَلَمَّا قَضَى السُّجُودَ وَالصَّفُّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ انْحَدَرَ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ بِالسُّجُودِ، فَسَجَدُوا ". قَالَ جَابِرٌ: " كَمَا يَصْنَعُ حَرَسُكُمْ هَؤُلَاءِ بِأُمَرَائِهِمْ "..
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the fear prayer, and we formed two rows behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The enemy was between us and the qiblah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said the takbir and we also said the takbir. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) bowed, and we also bowed. Then he raised his head from bowing and we also raised ours. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went down into prostration along with the row that was with him (peace and blessings be upon him), while the second row remained standing facing the enemy. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the first row had completed the prostrations and stood up, the second row prostrated. When they had completed their prostrations and stood up, the rear row moved forward and the first row moved back. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) bowed and we also bowed. He (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his head from bowing and we also raised ours. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went down into prostration, and the front row, which had been at the back in the first rak'ah, also went down into prostration. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) had completed the prostration, and the front row as well, the second row went down into prostration. They completed their prostrations.
