أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَنْبَسِ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا هُرَيْمُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ ⦗٢٦١⦘ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْجُمُعَةُ وَاجِبَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ، إِلَّا عَلَى مَمْلُوكٍ، أَوِ امْرَأَةٍ، أَوْ صَبِيٍّ، أَوْ مَرِيضٍ ". هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ وَإِنْ كَانَ فِيهِ إِرْسَالٌ فَهُوَ مُرْسَلٌ جَيِّدٌ، فَطَارَقٌ مِنْ خِيَارِ التَّابِعِينَ وَمِمَّنْ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْهُ، وَلِحَدِيثهِ هَذَا شَوَاهِدُ، مِنْهَا مَا.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Tariq bin Shihab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Friday prayer is obligatory upon every Muslim except a slave, a woman, a child and a sick person."
Although this hadith is mursal (its chain skips the Companion), it is a good mursal, for Tariq is among the best of the Successors and among those who saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), even though he did not hear from him; and this hadith of his has supporting reports.
