باب: صلاة المأموم في المسجد أو على ظهره أو في رحبته بصلاة الإمام في المسجد وإن كان بينهما مقصورة أو أساطين أو غيرها شبيها بها
Chapter: The follower praying in the mosque, on its roof or in its courtyard following the imam in the mosque, even if a compartment, pillars or the like are between them

وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ " أَنَّهُ رَأَى أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُصَلِّي فَوْقَ ظَهْرِ الْمَسْجِدِ بِصَلَاةِ الْإِمَامِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ".
The freed slave of al-Taw'amah narrates that he saw Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) praying on the roof of the mosque along with the imam's prayer.
