أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُقْرِئِ، أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: " كَانَ مُعَاذٌ يُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِشَاءَ، ثُمَّ يَأْتِي قَوْمَهُ فَيُصَلِّي بِهِمْ تِلْكَ الصَّلَاةَ ".
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) used to pray the Isha prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then come to his people and lead them in that same prayer.
