قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، وَأَبُو الْأَزْهَرِ قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنبأ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، فَذَكَرَهُ بِمِثْلِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " فَيُصَلِّي بِهِمْ تِلْكَ الصَّلَاةَ، هِيَ لَهُ نَافِلَةٌ، وَلَهُمْ فَرِيضَةٌ ".
Amr bin Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) likewise says that he would lead them in that same prayer; for those following him it was obligatory, and for him it was voluntary.
