Al-Ala' bin al-Musayyab narrates from his father that Sayyiduna Ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted: "O Messenger of Allah! I have someone who leads me, but he cannot bring me for these two prayers." He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Which two prayers?" He said: "Isha and Fajr." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If the one who stays away from these two prayers knew what reward and recompense there is in them, he would certainly come to them, even if he had to come crawling on his knees."
The Shaykh said: They differed over the name of Ibn Umm Maktum; it is said it was Abdullah, and it is said it was Amr.
