Bayhaqi 4625 — The length of their recitation in the night prayer

Dawud bin al-Husayn (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated from Abd al-Rahman bin Hurmuz (may Allah have mercy on him) that the people used to curse the disbelievers only in Ramadan. The reciter would recite Surah al-Baqarah in eight rak'ahs, and when the reciter completed Surah al-Baqarah in twelve rak'ahs, the people felt that the night prayer was light.
