وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، ثنا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ: " كُنَّا نَنْصَرِفُ مِنَ الْقِيَامِ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَنَسْتَعْجِلُ الْخَادِمَ بِالطَّعَامِ مَخَافَةَ الْفَجْرِ ".
Abdullah bin Abi Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I heard my father say: When we returned from the night prayer of Ramadan, we would ask the servant to hurry with the food, fearing the dawn.
