Abd al-Rahman bin Abd al-Qari (may Allah have mercy on him) said that he performed tawaf together with Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) after the morning prayer. When Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) completed the tawaf, he looked at the sun, and it had not yet risen. Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) mounted his riding animal, halted at the place called Dhu Tuwa, and prayed two voluntary rak'ahs there.
