أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ، أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، أنبأ سَيَّارٌ، أنبأ يَزِيدُ الْفَقِيرُ، ثنا جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أُعْطِيتُ خَمْسًا لَمْ يُعْطَهُنَّ أَحَدٌ قَبْلُ، نُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ مَسِيرَةَ شَهْرٍ، وَأُحِلَّتْ لِيَ الْغَنَائِمُ، وَلَمْ تَحِلَّ لِأَحَدٍ قَبْلِي، وَجُعِلَتْ لِيَ الْأَرْضُ مَسْجِدًا وَطَهُورًا فَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَدْرَكَتْهُ الصَّلَاةُ فَلْيُصَلِّ، وَأُعْطِيتُ الشَّفَاعَةَ، وَكُلُّ نَبِيٍّ يُبْعَثُ إِلَى قَوْمِهِ خَاصَّةً وَبُعِثْتُ إِلَى النَّاسِ عَامَّةً " أَخْرَجَاهُ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ هُشَيْمٍ.
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been given five things that were not given to anyone before me: I have been helped by awe (cast into the enemy) from a month's journey away; the spoils of war have been made lawful for me, which were not lawful for anyone before me; the whole earth has been made a place of prostration (mosque) and a means of purification for me, so whenever any man of my Ummah finds that the time of prayer has come, let him pray right there; I have been granted intercession; and every prophet was sent specifically to his own people, but I have been sent to all people."
