باب: لا تفريط على من نام عن صلاة، أو نسيها حتى ذهب وقتها، وعليه قضاؤها إذا ذكرها، لا كفارة لها إلا ذلك
Chapter: There is no negligence on one who sleeps through a prayer or forgets it until its time passes; he must make it up when he remembers, and there is no expiation for it except that

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حِمْشَاذَ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أنبأ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً أَوْ نَامَ عَنْهَا فَكَفَّارَتُهَا أَنْ يُصَلِّيَهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى وَغَيْرِهِ، وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ ابْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، وَالْمُثَنَّى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَغَيْرُهُمَا، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ.
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever forgets to pray a prayer or sleeps through it, its expiation is that he prays it whenever he remembers it."
