قَالَ: وَثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ مِنْهَالٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَا بَنِيَّ " اقْرَءُوا فِي سَكْتَةِ الْإِمَامِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا تَتِمُّ صَلَاةٌ إِلَّا بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ ".
Hisham bin Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: O my dear sons! Recite (al-Fatihah) during the imam's pause, for "There is no prayer without Surah al-Fatihah."
