Bayhaqi 2487 — The Sunnah of lengthening the first rak'ah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to stand in the first rak'ah of Zuhr until the sound of footsteps had ceased.
