أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ اللَّخْمِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَاقِي الْأَذَنِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عُمَيْرِ بْنُ النَّحَّاسِ، ثنا ضَمْرَةُ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْوَلَاءُ لُحْمَةٌ كَلُحْمَةِ النَّسَبِ، لَا يُبَاعُ وَلَا يُوهَبُ ". قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ: لَمْ يَرْوِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ إِلَّا ضَمْرَةُ. قَالَ الشَّيْخُ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ: " قَدْ رَوَاهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ، كَمَا رَوَاهُ الْجَمَاعَةُ: نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْوَلَاءِ وَعَنْ هِبَتِهِ. فَكَأَنَّ الْخَطَأَ وَقَعَ مِنْ غَيْرِهِ، وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ..
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The bond of wala' is like the bond of lineage; it shall not be given as a gift or sold."
Sulayman (may Allah have mercy on him) said: No one narrated this hadith from Sufyan except Damrah.
The Shaykh said: Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Yusuf al-Firyabi narrated it from Damrah just as the group narrated it: "(The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)) forbade selling wala' and giving it as a gift." So it seems the error occurred from someone else, and Allah knows best.
