Bayhaqi 21337 — One who frees his share in a jointly owned slave

Abu Mijlaz (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a slave belonged to two men and one of them freed his share, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) held him back until he sold a small flock of sheep of his for it.
This is munqati' (its chain is broken). It has also been narrated through another route from al-Qasim, from his father, from his grandfather Abdullah bin Mas'ud, and that is da'if (weak).
