باب: : ما جاء في الغلام يشهد قبل أن يبلغ، والعبد قبل أن يعتق، والكافر قبل أن يسلم، ثم بلغ الصبي، وعتق العبد، وأسلم الكافر، وكانوا عدولا، فشهدوا بها
Chapter: Reports on a boy who witnessed before reaching puberty, a slave before being freed and a disbeliever before accepting Islam, then the boy came of age, the slave was freed and the disbeliever accepted Islam, and being upright they testified to it

قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، ثنا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، وَعَطَاءٍ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: " شَهَادَتُهُمْ جَائِزَةٌ " قَالَ: وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.
Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that their testimony is permissible.
