أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ، أنبأ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ السَّمَّاكِ، ثنا حَنْبَلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبِلَادِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ نَاسًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَنَاشَدُونَ الشِّعْرَ عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ، أَوْ حَوْلَ الْبَيْتِ، لَا أَعْلَمُ إِلَّا قَالَ: مُحْرِمِينَ " شَكَّ إِبْرَاهِيمُ.
Al-Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I saw the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reciting poetry near the House of Allah, when they were around the House in the state of ihram (the narrator Ibrahim was in doubt).
