Bayhaqi 20305 — The ruler and the judge consulting on matters

Al-Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Whoever would like to take the firmest course in judging, let him adopt the judgements of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), for he used to seek counsel.
