Bayhaqi 20253 — The dislike of seeking leadership and judgeship

Wahb bin Munabbih narrates from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) a marfu' hadith: "Whoever lives in the desert becomes harsh, whoever pursues game becomes heedless, and whoever comes to the ruler falls into trial." [Da'if]
