Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, the Lord of Glory, will question His servant on the Day of Resurrection about everything, until Allah Almighty will ask: 'When you saw an evil, why did you not forbid (it)?' When Allah, the Lord of Glory, prompts the servant with his argument, the servant will say: 'O my Lord, I placed my hope in You and I feared the people.'"
