وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْحَارِثِيُّ، ثنا حُسَيْنٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ كُلَّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ، وَالْمُجَثَّمَةَ، وَالْحِمَارَ الْإِنْسِيَّ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that on the day of Khaybar the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) "forbade eating the meat of beasts of prey with fangs, of the animal tied up and shot to death, and of domestic donkeys."
