وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: " سَرَيْنَا لَيْلَةً مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فِي نَوْمِهِمْ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ حَتَّى طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَقَالَ فِيهِ: فَأَمَرُ بِلَالًا فَأَذَّنَ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that we travelled one night with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); then he narrated the hadith about sleeping through the prayer until the sun rose. In it, it says that he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him); he gave the adhan, then the iqamah.
