أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ الرَّزَّازُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، أنبأ يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَنَامَ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ حَتَّى طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ قَالَ: فَأَمَرَ بِلَالًا فَأَذَّنَ وَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ انْتَظَرَ حَتَّى اسْتَعْلَتِ الشَّمْسُ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ فَأَقَامَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ " وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ هِشَامٌ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that we were on a journey with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he (peace and blessings be upon him) slept through the prayer until the sun rose. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him); he gave the adhan, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) waited until the sun had risen high, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him, and he gave the iqamah, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) led them in prayer.
