باب: يشترط عليهم أن لا يحدثوا في أمصار المسلمين كنيسة، ولا مجمعا لصلاتهم، ولا صوت ناقوس، ولا حمل خمر، ولا إدخال خنزير
Chapter: It is stipulated that they do not build in the Muslim cities a church or a place for their worship, nor sound the bell, carry wine or bring in pigs

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، وَأَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ بُرْهَانَ، وَأَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ، قَالُوا: ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ حَرَامِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: كَتَبَ ⦗٣٣٩⦘ إِلَيْنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنْ أَدِّبُوا الْخَيْلَ، وَلَا يُرْفَعَنَّ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْكُمُ الصَّلِيبُ، وَلَا يُجَاوِرَنَّكُمُ الْخَنَازِيرُ.
Haram bin Mu'awiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote: "Train the horses, but let the cross not be raised among you, nor let pigs live near you."
