Bayhaqi 18261 — Whoever accepts Islam while holding something

Sulayman bin Buraydah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the people of the covenant (ahl al-dhimmah): "They are entitled to whatever they had when they accepted Islam: wealth, slaves, houses, land, livestock and the like. Nothing is due from them on it except zakah."
