Bayhaqi 18251 — What the polytheists seize from the Muslims

Al-Rukayn bin al-Rabi' al-Fazari narrates from his father: In the time of Khalid bin al-Walid (may Allah be pleased with him) the polytheists seized a horse of theirs, then the Muslims recovered it in the time of Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him). We spoke to Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him), and he returned it to us after the property had been divided, and it was part of the governor's fifth (khumus).
