Bayhaqi 18193 — A hostile disbeliever who kills a Muslim

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that al-Hurmuzan came down on the judgement of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Anas! Shall I spare the killer of al-Bara' bin Malik and Majza'ah bin Thawr (may Allah be pleased with them both)? Then he became a Muslim, and a stipend was fixed for him.
