أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دَرَسْتَوَيْهِ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، قَالَا: ثنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ حَيْوَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ التُّجِيبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ شُفَيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لِلْغَازِي أَجْرُهُ، وَلِلْجَاعِلِ أَجْرُهُ وَأَجْرُ الْغَازِي ". وَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " قَفْلَةٌ كَغَزْوَةٍ ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The fighter has his reward, and the one who pays to send him out has his own reward and the reward of the fighter as well." And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Returning (from a campaign) is like a campaign."
