Bayhaqi 17772 — Permission to reside in the land of polytheism for one

Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said: O Messenger of Allah! Some people say that we have no reward while living in Makkah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will surely receive your reward, even if you were in a fox's hole."
