أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُورَكٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا قُرَّةُ، ح. وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَخْتَوَيْهِ ثنا أَبُو عَمْرٍو أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْعَطَّارُ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الْحَنَفِيُّ ثنا قُرَّةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: " نَظَرْنَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةً حَتَّى كَانَ قَرِيبًا مِنْ نِصْفِ اللَّيْلِ فَجَاءَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَلَّى قَالَ: فَكَأَنَّمَا أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيضِ خَاتَمِهِ حَلْقَةُ فِضَّةٍ " وَفِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي دَاوُدَ حَتَّى مَضَى شَطْرُ اللَّيْلِ وَالْبَاقِي بِمَعْنَاهُ رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that one night we waited for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) until it was nearly half of the night. He (peace and blessings be upon him) came and led the prayer. It is as if I am looking at the silver band and the gleam of his (peace and blessings be upon him) ring. In a narration of Abu Dawud it is: until half of the night had passed, and the rest has the same meaning.
