Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), says: Some people from Yemen came to him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) taught them the prayer, the Sunnahs and the obligations. Then they said: "O Messenger of Allah! We make a drink from wheat, and from barley too." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Al-Ghubayra'?" They said: "Yes!" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not drink it." Then two days later they mentioned it again, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Al-Ghubayra'?" They said: "Yes!" He said: "Do not consume it." Then, when they intended to leave, they asked him about it, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Al-Ghubayra'?" They said: "Yes!" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not consume it."
